Eligible for Donations

It is said most charities that solicit donations are not in compliance with the various state and federal district laws that exist.  Charities must be registered in at least 40 states and the District of Columbia beyond the requirements of being a 501(c)(3) charity.

We are in the process of reviewing all of the requirements for each state.  Below we have listed the states we can accept donations from and the ones we can not accept donations from.  Please do not donate if you are a resident of a state we can't accept donations from.  Due to the high cost of registering in the District of Columbia (the fees for everything required is over $300 at this writing) we will not be registering there.

Be sure to review this information on any charity you donate to to make sure they are in compliance with the laws of your state before donating.

FATE can accept donations from residents in the following states:

Alabama*, Alaska*, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan*, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon*, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Washington*  (Other states will be added as we review the laws and exceptions of each one.)

FATE can NOT accept donations from residents in the following states and districts:

District of Columbia, Massachusetts (Other states will be added as we review the laws and exceptions of each one.)

*These states require registration to accept donations, but we meet exceptions so registration is not required.
